PENNZOIL LONG-LIFE GOLD DIESEL SAE 15W-40 provides premium quality service in both diesel (with API CH-4 or lower requirement) and gasoline engines (with API SL or lower requirement) and are specially formulated for heavy-duty diesel engines operating both on and off highways. Newly designed low emission diesel engines actually tend to produce more soot. However, this soot is captured in the engine oil and does not go out to the exhaust.
