Kuala Lumpur, 8 September 2026 — UMW Lubetech Sdn Bhd, through its Pennzoil brand, recently launched Pennzoil Platinum Velocity SAE 0W-20 API SQ at the Asian Lubricant Exhibition (ALE) 2026 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, expanding its premium fully synthetic engine oil portfolio.
Aligned with Pennzoil’s aspiration, “Long May We Drive” the new product reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering advanced lubrication solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern engines and strengthens its position in the premium fully synthetic segment.
Pennzoil Platinum Velocity SAE 0W-20 is formulated to meet the latest API SQ and ILSAC GF-7A performance standards, providing enhanced engine protection, fuel efficiency and reliable performance. The new variant respons to growing demand for 0W-20 engine oils as more vehicle manufacturers recommend the viscosity grade for modern vehicles.
The new 0W-20 join the existing Pennzoil Platinum Velocity 5W-30 and 5W-40 variants. Available in convenient 4-litre packaging, the range is designed to suit the engine oil capacity requirement of most passenger vehicles.
