Pulau Indah, 2 March 2026 — UMW Pennzoil Distributors Sdn. Bhd. (UPD) has renewed its agreement with Pennzoil‑Quaker State Company, Texas, USA (Pennzoil), marking nearly 30 years of partnership between both organisations.
Under the extended contract, UPD will continue the manufacture and distribution of Pennzoil lubricants across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. It remains the only company outside the United States authorised to manufacture and distribute Pennzoil products, supported by exclusive trademark usage rights granted by Pennzoil USA.
The contract was signed by En. Ami Akhram bin Abdullah, Director, Manufacturing & Engineering, Sime UMW and John Sussman, Marketing Director, Pennzoil.

Sime UMW recently introduced refreshed premium packaging and label designs for Pennzoil products, unveiled at its Dealer’s Appreciation Dinner on 10th January 2026. The updated design is meant to deliver greater accessibility and consistency for customers, reinforcing Pennzoil’s position as a trusted premium lubricant brand in the region.
